*Sometimes you just need a big hug!*
- Have you got over-analysing fatigue?
- Does your to-do list keep growing with no time for you?
- Have you tried to be mindful and present but can’t seem to manage it?
- Are you trying to keep calm and carry on but life’s just too hectic and who made that up anyway?
Sometimes we can’t do this big life thing on our own.
Sometimes we just need a hug.
Sometimes we need to be held.
Sometimes we need a pack, a community, friends to be there for us.
CUDDLE CLUB is a workshop that facilitates safe, non-sexual physical touch in a way that has clear boundaries and requests as to what you need. This skill is so helpful for everyday life because it helps us to clearly define what it is that we need, it helps us to request it and it also helps us to learn to receive.
When we receive physical touch, be it having someone hold hands or a hug - we feel deeply nurtured from within and without and this well-being creates a sense of being safe and secure in the world. It nourishes us with the strength to face whatever life puts in our way with a renewed attitude of 'I can do this, this is my life - I choose to be here.'
When we are too much in our head and juggling the many different balls that the day brings we can often be less in touch with what our heart, feelings and emotions need. What we need emotionally tends to get put to the bottom of the list compared to all of the things that need to be done.
What if these two elements could be friends and work together?
We are not suggesting to not work and just cuddle all day (although that does sound like fun!) but we are bringing real solutions to the real and very busy world.
Cuddling releases happy hormones that leave you feeling so deeply loved.
